Throwback Baseball Snapbacks

We once had a huge baseball environment other cities were jealous of. Everything from our hometown “Tucson Toros” to all the Major League teams that flocked to Tucson for Spring Training. Teams came and went, the Toros turned into the Sidewinders, had success, then ownership sold them to another city. These past few years Phoenix monopolized on the Spring Training scene and took all teams up north. With the baseball scene practically non existent from a professional standpoint, we received a spark of hope from last years University of Arizona baseball team. They went up to Omaha and won the NCAA National Championship and fulfilled a void missing for many Tucsonans. So when we considered doing a throwback baseball themed hat we took a few of those things in consideration. We have a hat that is red and gold reminiscent of the “Tucson Toros,” navy and white for our beloved “UofA Wildcats.” Last black and grey, growing up I wasn’t too big of a baseball enthusiast but I was Chicago White Sox fan when they made Tucson their Spring Training home. Here are a few of the photos from our shoot at High Corbett Field old home of the Toros and new home of the Wildcats. Hats dropping tomorrow Friday January 11th at noon instore and online.
